Who We Are

I am Molly Simmering, the owner and breeder of Cottonwood Labradoodles. Along with my husband John and 3 children, our family has bred hunting breeds, Labrador Retrievers and Brittany’s, for over 30 years. As the Campus Counselor at Hesston College (1995-2010), I became interested in Therapy Dog and companion animal use in counseling. My research led me to the Australian Labradoodle; a breed known for their intelligence, sensitivity, and gentle nature, and their low to no shedding and allergy friendly coats. I purchased my first two Australian Labradoodles in 2010 and have completely fallen in love with these wonderful dogs! Our family has grown, and I feel so fortunate to have adult children and now 9 grandchildren to help with raising our Cottonwood Labradoodle Puppies. This care and socialization are a tremendous gift to the overall development of each puppy raised here at the ‘doodle ranch’ and prepares them for the transition to their new forever families.
